ONTARIO, CALIF., February 24, 2012 — Pacific Coast Warehouse Company, often referred to as PCW or PCWC, is proud to have been part of another charity donation project that will help many people in need, in two distant places.

War refugees in Uganda and orphans in Northeast Russia will soon receive some new clothing thanks to a joint effort from Campus Drive Inc., Boy Scouts of America, two local organizations in the respective countries and PCW. In the end an estimated 40,000 garments were shipped out to those in need.

“When in the position to help out the less fortunate, we feel it is our duty to do so as part of the global community. Any time PCW has the opportunity to be part of such a wonderful project, we do not hesitate. Whether partnering with local and/or global organizations we want to be a part of the solution to help those in need.”
–Melinda Roush, Customer Service Manager PCW

PCW dates back more than 85 years and has become one of the finest 3rd party logistics (3PL) organizations in the Western United States by operating as an extension of their customers and focusing on service. PCW is a privately-owned company who understands that quality service, flexibility, technology, and value added services (VAS) are required for effective supply chain management.  PCW is continuously looking for ways to improve operations in terms of both logistics and productivity, with the end result of being a more efficient operation for it's partners. PCW currently operates multiple facilities in Southern and Northern California distributing goods ranging from food & beverages, apparel & footwear, electronics, beer wine & spirits, house wares, sporting goods to hazardous chemicals & industrial materials depending on the facility.
