ONTARIO, CALIF., May 18, 2012 — Pacific Coast Warehouse Company, often referred to as PCW or PCWC, is proud to announce a tour and operational observation of Best Practices for a major retailer’s team. After years of out performing other service providers and retailers alike, the retailer simply asked, “How do you do it?”

PCW has great experience and exceptional scorecards in servicing customers that are shipping to big box retailers. Now they are being asked to share a bit how that knowledge and experience has helped them earn such great scorecards.

“We take the philosophy of performing at our best, in all service offerings, to whole heartedly become a partner very serious here at PCW. This means not only do we need to provide flawless service to our customer but we also need to equally perform for our customer’s customers. So, we are always looking at ways to increase accuracy, efficiencies and looking to expand our service offerings. We take a lot of pride in scoring very high in all the various audits. But when others are asking for tours and to observe your operation, it certainly helps to validate that we are doing the right things.”
–Jim Marcoly, President, PCW

PCW just celebrated 85 years in the industry and has become one of the finest 3rd party logistics (3PL) organizations in the Western United States by operating as an extension of their customers and focusing on service. PCW is a privately-owned company who understands that quality service, flexibility, technology, and value added services are required for effective supply chain management.  PCW currently operates multiple facilities in Southern and Northern California distributing goods ranging from food & beverages, apparel & footwear, electronics, beer wine & spirits, house wares, sporting goods to hazardous chemicals & industrial materials depending on the facility.
